On 21 – 25 November 2016 took place on the Faculty of Sciences of The RUDN University the 19-th International Conference on DISTRIBUTED COMPUTER AND COMMUNICATION NETWORKS: CONTROL, COMPUTATION, COMMUNICATIONS (DCCN-2016) with the assistance of The Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), the V.A. Trapeznikov Institute of Control Sciences of RAS (ICS RAS, Russia, Moscow), the RUDN University of Russia (Moscow), the National Research Tomsk State University (NR TSU, Russia, Tomsk), and the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (Bulgaria, Sofia).

The Conference brought together researchers and developers from academia and industry from the various countries and working in the area of theory and applications of distributed computer and telecommunication networks, mathematical modeling, methods of control and optimization of distributed systems. The conference gave to the reserchers unique opportunity to share their views as well as discuss the perspective developments and pursue collaboration in this area. The DCCN-2016 conference is a continuation of traditional, international DCCN series, which were held in Russia, Bulgaria, and Israel over the recent 18 years. The working languages of the Conference are Russian and English.

The topics of the Conference include, but are not limited to the following fields:

· Computer and communications networking architecture optimization;

· Control in computer and telecommunication systems;

· Performance analysis and QoS/QoE evaluation in wireless networks;

· Analytical modeling and simulation of next-generation communications systems;

· Wireless 4G/5G networks, centimeter- and millimeter-wave radio technologies;

· RFID-technologies and their application in intelligent transportation networks;

· Internet of Things, wearables, and applications of distributed information systems;

· Distributed and cloud computing systems, big data analytics;

· Probabilistic and statistical models in information systems;

· Queuing theory and reliability theory applications;

· Mathematical modeling of high-tech systems;

· Mathematical modeling and control problems.

At DCCN-2016, the key leading scientists will deliver plenary talks and conduct the Youth School-Seminar accompanied by a best-paper award competition open to graduate and postgraduate students.
